Dr Gina Kang is a principal dentist at Mitcham Central Dental, combining a deep care for people with a passion for holistic health. A Bachelor of Dental Surgery graduate from the University of Melbourne, she’s driven by her love for serving others and building meaningful connections with her patients and team. Her fascination with the human body, mind and spirit led her to dentistry, where she creates a welcoming and supportive space for every patient.
Dr Kang’s holistic approach focuses on each patient’s unique needs for long-term health. Skilled in TMD and sleep apnea care, she collaborates with an on-site physiotherapist to provide well-rounded support for jaw and sleep issues. She is also fluent in English and Korean.
Outside the practice, Dr Kang enjoys hot yoga, meditation and getting lost in a good book. She’s also a dedicated practitioner of Transcendental Meditation, which she believes helps her bring a unique sense of balance and mindfulness to her practice.
Nina completed her Doctor or Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. She is passionate about providing holistic care and finds it most rewarding when she helps her patients overcome their fears at the dentist and help them feel confident in their smiles again. Her patients know her as calm and kind, with gentle hands.
Nina enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in oral surgery and realignment of teeth using clear aligners. In addition to English, Nina speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of work, Nina enjoys cooking and baking, and discovering new walks/parks/cafes with her young family.
